Has Planet released anything yet?
#1
Has Planet made available to the community any of the things that would be of help in development for it — blobs, driver source such as it is, any kind of API — such that development for anything but Android might begin? Is there a repository of Gemini-specific stuff anywhere? I don’t mean Adam’s admirable applications, but vendor-supplied support. Have we yet seen any of that?

You can use Linux version of SP FlashTool, but be careful to avoid doing "Format all" or "Format all + Flash", use Firmware upgrade mode:

SP Flash tool is known to work inside a Windows virtual machine, if that helps.

Be very careful using any other tool as you may damage your unit. See our Linux flash Guide for more information.

Anyone else had problems with the dual boot image?
I have downloaded twice now - but the zip file appears to be corrupted:
http://support.planetcom.co.uk/download/...ian_TP.zip

Specifically the debian.img file - Z-Zip says CRC fail, WinZip says "size mismatch", and Windows 7 built in just fails.

I had the same issue but could unzip the file using 7Zip and it didn't complain...

Retried - 7-Zip completes and writes files, but it does says that debian.img has a CRC mismatch.

Flashed it anyway:  boots fine to Android, cannot get into recovery mode and attempts to boot to linux result in a little dead android with 'no command' in tiny writing . . . [Image: shocked.png]
